Entertainment Responds To Stan Lee's $1 Billion Lawsuit

A massage therapist is suing producer-writer Stan Lee of Marvel Comics fame for sexual assault and battery

Comic book legend Stan Lee filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the entertainment company he co-founded, alleging its leaders conspired to steal his "identity, name, image and likeness" by negotiating a "sham" sale of the firm and seeking damages topping $1 billion. However, in 2017, Camsing International had acquired the company at an undisclosed price and made co-founders Shane Duffy and Gill Champion the CEO and President of the company respectively.

Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Camsing is an investment holding company with entertainment interests spanning animation, film, TV, game, theme activities, as well as the sales of IP derivative products.

In the complaint against POW!, attorney Adam Grant wrote that Lee "does not recall anyone reading the Illegitimate Document to him, and, due to his advanced macular degeneration, he could not have read it himself". It accuses them of brokering the deal to sell POW! while Stan "was in a state of total devastation" over his ailing wife and that they "never disclosed the actual terms of the deal to Lee before closing it". However, Lee later learned that the document actually granted POW! exclusive rights to Lee's name, identity, and likeness "on a worldwide basis in perpetuity".

In addition to the $1 billion, Lee is asking for an order to get the rights to his name back.

Lee also claims POW! took control of his social media accounts and has been impersonating him - something he's recently addressed on Twitter.

California To Appeal Ruling On Life-Ending Drugs
Judge Ottolia denied the group's request for an immediate injunction, but allowed the challenge to move forward in court. Though the ruling might only be temporary, one terminally ill woman at the May 15 hearing was grateful for it.

The suit also alleged that Olivarez "convinced" Lee to set up a "false charity" called Hands of Respect, which the suit claims was nothing more than a vehicle to shift Lee's money to Olivarez.

"The allegations are completely without merit". The notion that Mr.

Over the last week, Lee has been posting about how he finally gained control of his Twitter for the first time and this video seems like final proof of that.

Help! Someone has hijacked my Facebook and Instagram. I don't know how much I've been missing, now that I seen them.

"There is no question Mr. The evidence, which includes Mr Lee's subsequent statements and conduct, is overwhelming and we look forward to presenting it in court". You guys are my true superheros.

Lee, who is 95, is the creator of hundreds of superheroes such as Spider-Man, The Hulk, Thor and Black Panther.
