Rihanna 'stalker' charged after 'breaking into her home'

Authorities say a man who broke into Rihanna's Hollywood Hills home and spent 12 hours there has been charged with stalking the singer, who was not at home at the time.

According to reports, the assistant found Leon charging his phone and calmly unpacking his bag.

Leon allegedly broke into another home a week earlier that he mistakenly believed was the singer's and was arrested on suspicion of burglary and trespassing, according to TMZ.com. In court on Monday, Leon was charged with the three felonies and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

The "Diamonds" singer has had a busy year from launching Fenty Beauty, teasing fans with new music, and dropping her lingerie line, Savage x Fenty. Rihanna was in NY following the Met Gala at the time of the break-in.

The 26-year-old could face up to six years in state prison if convicted as charged, prosecutors said.

The LAPD is still investigating the case.
