Seven United States governors are throwing their full support behind President Trump's nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize this week; sending a letter to the Norwegian Committee that called for the Commander-in-Chief to receive the award in 2019.

The governors of Alabama and MS are among those supporting the nomination of President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize.

The governors who signed the letter are Henry McMaster of South Carolina, Kay Ivey of Alabama, Jeff Colyer of Kansas, Paul R. LePage of Maine, Phil Bryant of Mississippi, Jim Justice of West Virginia, and Eddie Baza Calvo of the us territory of Guam. Yonhap also said North Korea's Korean Central News Agency reported that Pyongyang was questioning whether next month's summit between Kim and Trump could also take place as planned.
