Golf champ's wife attacked him after he bombed at tournament

EXCLUSIVE: Golfer Lucas Glover's wife is arrested after 'attacking' him and calling him a 'p***y' and a 'loser' after he played a poor round at PGA Players Championship

The wife of a PGA Tour professional and former Clemson golfer was arrested on Saturday on charges of domestic battery, according to reports released on Tuesday.

Police arrived to a residence rented by the Glovers on Saturday night due to a disturbance 911 call.

She started an altercation with him that day, according to the report, and she started it after allegedly drinking all day and in front of their kids and his mother, the document said. Both Lucas Glover and his mother had visible injuries after she intervened to stop the altercation.

Officials also said that Krista stayed belligerent after her arrest and during the trip to the station grumbled: "this is why cops get shot in the face".

According to the police report, an officer observed that Glover's mother has blood and cuts on her arms and police alleged that Krista injured the elderly women when the latter tried to put an end to the argument.

Neuer Makes A Surprise Return In Low's Provisional List
Germany have reached at least the semifinals of all five tournaments they've competed at since. Die Mannschaft's final warm-up games are against Austria on June 3 and Saudi Arabia on June 8.

"Wait till the tour hears about this", Krista reportedly said.

"Lucas advised me every time he plays poorly in a tournament, Krista begins yelling at him, stating he is a "loser" and "p*ssy" and ultimately starting an altercation with him about his performance."

Police officials noted in the report that Krista resisted them, refusing to get in the squad auto by "blocking herself from sitting down".

Krista forcefully attempted to escape as she was escorted to the police auto, "screaming while forcefully kicking the rear driver's side door" and causing damage to the vehicle, according to the report. She told deputies her mother-in-law attacked her, but she insisted "everything was fine", the report said. She wrapped her legs and feet around the door and frame of the auto, preventing the lower half of her body from getting into the vehicle. He says he is comfortable the judicial system will be able to clear his wife. Authorities were kind enough to loosen her handcuffs in the vehicle as they were transporting her, which turned out to be a bad idea because she attempted to flee their custody. "We thank you for respecting our privacy as we work through this unfortunate situation".

When reached on her cellphone this afternoon, Krista hung up abruptly when asked for comment.
