Google I/O 2018: Android P Amazing Features Revealed

The first big announcement was that Android TV now has 3,600 apps and games. However, you can use the Google Assistant to have the vehicle turn on the AC, adjust the temperature and much more.

A day after Google announced the addition of six new voices to its Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered Assistant, users in the U.S. can now change the voices of their assistants, a media report said. But it's also showcasing how its AI is being used by developers to improve health care, preserve the environment and make new scientific discoveries. The device does not come with a remote and is entirely operated using voice commands. One quirk with John legend's voice that it will be accompanied with amusing responses in addition to the normal ones. For Pixel devices, the process seems to be quite straightforward. Instead, they allow the Google Assistant to control the connected devices and overlay information into those experiences.

Google says that "Pretty Please" feature would launch later this year. It will be available in 30 languages in 80 countries. That includes changes to a range of products such as YouTube, which will now remind you to take breaks, and smarter ways to manage Android notifications. The first command will naturally require "Hey Google" but the sentences that follow need not have the command. Google calls this App Actions. Google is looking to help people tame that a bit with a set of features that help you monitor usage and maybe even put your phone down once in a while.

The new powerful Assistant can now distinguish between two sentences that are joined by "and" and can reply with two different query-specific answers in one go. This feature has been rolled out for Google Assistant.

Arsene Wenger critical of referee Graham Scott after defeat to Leicester
Arsene Wenger is supportive of Gareth Southgate as England manager but has left the door open to taking the role in the future.

One of the most anticipated Android update. And Google - yes, that Google - wants to help.

Google Assistant-powered "Smart Displays" will go on sale this July. Now on the Google app, conversations with Assistant will have a more immersive. App Actions will also work contextually with hardware interactions, like when you plug in your headphones.

Google said it would roll out the technology, called Duplex, as an experiment in the next few weeks.

The search giant aims to make Google Assistant and other services so useful that people can not live without them - or the search results that drive its advertising business. Google points out that this involves semantic understanding of meaning and context of words and phrases.
