Samsung officially reveals Galaxy A6 & A6 Plus

Galaxy A6 A6 Plus leak

The Galaxy A6 series will support key features of Samsung's latest flagship Galaxy S models, including the face recognition for security.

The Galaxy A6 will have a 5.6-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 1,480 x 720 pixels, while the Galaxy A6 Plus will have a 6-inch display with a higher full HD+ resolution of 2,220 x 1,080 pixels. This suggests that the Galaxy A6 Plus is the one running a Snapdragon 450 while the lower priced Galaxy A6 will be powered by Samsung's own Exynos 7870.

The Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 Plus recently passed through TENAA, China's equivalent of the FCC, signaling that they could make an imminent debut.

'Support gay marriage': Cake row case to be heard at Supreme Court
The court also heard from Robin Allen QC, representing Gareth Lee and the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland . After the customer filed a lawsuit, lower courts ruled that the bakery's decision was discriminatory.

It sure looks like an end of the road for rumours as the Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus finds its way to the official Samsung website in Indonesia where the mid-range duo are up for display in all their glory. More renders as well as promo material of the upcoming Galaxy A6 has now leaked online, confirming some of the key features of the handset.

Furthermore, the company has not yet revealed the price of the smartphones. Also, Galaxy A6+ can be seen in a Black colour variant, in addition to the Gold and Blue models reported earlier. Both the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ come with Super AMOLED screen. In terms of specs, Galaxy A6 includes a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, while the A6+ includes a primary sensor of 16-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture and secondary sensor of 5-megapixel with an aperture of f/1.9. Under the hood, the device packs an octa-core 1.6GHz chipset with a 3GB of RAM, and a 32GB of storage, expandable up to 256GB. The Galaxy A6 storage can be expanded up to up to 400 GB via microSD card. That's not really surprising, as the Galaxy A6 is expected to be launched as the Galaxy J8 in select markets. Featuring an adjustable front LED flash, Galaxy A6 and A6+ users can snap stylish selfies, from day to night. Both mobiles fit a fingerprint sensor that is rear-mounted.

When it comes to battery capacity, both handsets should deliver a good performance on a single charge. The phone is backed by a 3500 mAh battery.
