Sachin Tendulkar stops vehicle, enjoys gully cricket session on Mumbai street

“One of Sachin’s friends came out from the car and told us ‘There is a man who played in the Indian cricket team and now wants to play with you. Will you allow him to?’”

Sachin Tendulkar playing gully cricket is something you'd never thought you'd see.

The video of this heartwarming act by the soon-to-turn 45-year-old became a rage on social media and goes to show the simplicity that has been the highlight of Sachin's personality, despite the nonpareil success he has received in his life.

Tendulkar, who called time on his career in 2013, perfectly negotiated the deliveries he faced from the other end.

It's been close to five years since the God of Cricket walked away into the sunset at the Wankhede Stadium, bowing out of global cricket after 24 years of playing the game at the top-most level. Mumbai Indians have not won a single match this IPL season. It's too adorable to see a legend like him play such way like a commoner.
