Unnao rape case: Zero tolerance against corruption, crime: Yogi Adityanath

Not Hopeful of Justice in Unnao Case: UP Girl Raped in 2011 by Then BSP MLA Writes Open Letter to PM Modi CM Yogi Adityanath

She also thanked the media and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for taking up her cause that was, so far, a "lonely and losing battle".

The victim's family also alleged that the accused MLA's brother, Atul Singh Sengar, along with his companions also raped the girl and thrashed the victim's father on April 3 for refusing to withdraw the FIR over the same. "Our government will not compromise on this, no matter how influential the accused is, he will not be spared", said UP CM. Today, Allahabad High Court ordered the arrest of the BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl last year.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was felicitated with the title of "Dalit Mitra" on the occasion of 127 birth anniversary of Dalit icon Dr BR Ambedkar here on Saturday. The Chief Minister had also chose to expel two MLAs from Unnao.

It may be recalled that a day after the Mahasabha announced to confer the title on the CM, there was a revolt in the organisation against Mahasabha president Lalji Prasad Nirmal 's decision. "The party has to suffer the outcome of this decision".

Sengar was asked to join the investigation when he was about to leave for Varanasi. However, he has claimed innocence adding that the allegations levelled against him are false.

Minnesota Wild vs. Winnipeg Jets, 4-13
Minnesota opened Friday night's game with some burst, testing Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck with nine shots in the first period. Eric Staal and his line of course must be better than they were in game one, but again, that is an easy finger point situation.

The teen had accused the MLA of raping her in June a year ago.

The probe agency, after detaining Sengar on Friday morning, filed three FIRs in the rape case and the death of victim's father in judicial custody.

He was quoted saying by ANI: "Father of Unnao victim has died, the girl is threatening to immolate herself".

The members were taken into custody by the police. However, on April 9, he was admitted to a hospital after complaining about abdominal pain and vomiting and subsequently died there.
