Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja wedding: Farah Khan to supervise sangeet?

Farah Khan and Sonam Kapoor during'Veere Di Wedding choreography

That's not all - Karan Johar will apparently put on his dancing shoes for one of the special acts of the sangeet.

Meanwhile, Farah had been brainstorming on the ideal wedding present for Sonam and Anand and that's when she made a decision to take charge of the sangeet celebrations. However, he wishes they also voice their concerns against sexual exploitation in the Hindi film industry.

Bollywood actress Koena Mitra has targeted Sonam Kapoor for "giving communal twist" to the Kathua rape case, wherein an 8-year-old was allegedly raped and murdered.

While the Kapoors have remained tight-lipped about the wedding preparations, reports suggest that the wedding is likely to take place in Mumbai between May 7-10. "Sonam's grand mom can't travel that far and the family obviously feels her presence is more important than the destination", a source told the website. Farah immediately agreed and told Sunita that it'd be her wedding gift to the bride. In fact, sangeet rehearsals have already begun in the Kapoor family.

That Johar is close to the Kapoors is known - the filmmaker has been entrusted with Boney Kapoor's daughter Janhvi's Bollywood launch. The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actress is expected to join in for the performance, as per the report.

On the professional front, Sonam will be seen in "Veerey Di Wedding", a film which happens to be the comeback vehicle of Kareena Kapoor Khan.

It would be interesting to see the Kapoor family, who likes to big even on small occasion, pushing the envelope and probably re-defining extravaganza as we know it. Hera are a few details about the Sonam Kapoor Anand Ahuja wedding that we can't keep our calm about.
