Eagles Drop Daryl Worley after DUI in South Philly

Now that he's out of the picture, the Eagles' projected cornerback depth chart has taken a bit of a hit.

After staying with the Panthers for two seasons, the 23 year old corner back was traded in 2018 to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for wide receiver Torrey Smith.

Former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley is facing six criminal charges after police arrested him Sunday morning in South Philly, including those for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and carrying a firearm in public, according to court records. He allegedly acted in a combative manner when police arrived at the scene and had to be subdued with the use of a taser. The NFL corner back made a decision to get combative with the police which did not end well for him as he was tasered.

Manchester City Sponsors Release Painfully Cringy Video Celebrating Premier League Title Win
Manchester City , who had bounced back after a week of dismal performances trounced Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 on Saturday. But he said Guardiola's hunger and desire to get better had rubbed off on all the players, including himself.

The Eagles cut Worley on Sunday after confirming his arrest. Philadelphia did not absorb a financial penalty by cutting Worley and saved $670,000 against the salary cap. The authorities arrested Bennett and charged him with a felony.

Worley played college football at West Virginia.

Yikes. If indeed all of those charges are legitimate, releasing Worley was an easy decision for the Eagles, considering he was projected as little more than a potential role player heading into the 2018 season. No one is above the law. "I have a great support system in place and can go to them for whatever I could ask for".
