Billy Mitchell responds to Kongtroversy, claims he can prove scores were legitimate

"We also recognize records for First flawless score on Pac-Man and Highest score on Pac-Man".

Famous competitive gamer Billy Mitchell was one of the best arcade gamers of all time getting high scores in the likes of Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and more.

The move follows an investigation into his feats, which determined that his scores were not genuine, according to a Slash Gear report.

It was reported that he was using emulators he was scoring those high numbers, due to which they all have been removed from the Guinness World Records and Twin Galaxies website.

Mitchell has been a big name in gaming for decades, holding several world record scores.

Shire Announces Sale of Oncology Business to Servier for $2.4 Billion
Ornskov said the board will consider returning the proceeds of the sale back to shareholders through a buyback programme. The process identified multiple potential strategic buyers across the U.S., Europe and Japan, Shire said.

Instead of admitting any wrongdoing after the verdict was passed, Mitchell instead released his own video at the Midwest Gaming Classic show claiming that not only are his scores real, but he's gathering evidence to prove his case. Throughout Twin Galaxies' review process, Mitchell held his tongue even though he had the opportunity to defend himself.

Previously, American organization Twin Galaxies had conducted an investigation into Mitchell's scores after allegations emerged that the subject of the King of Kong documentary had, in fact, been utilizing emulation software known as MAME to achieve the scores earned in that very documentary.

Mitchell's video finds him a vision of solemnity, stating that he's been asked to address "things that are recently in the media".

In a professional manner, not in a shock-jock mentality designed to create hits, we will show that everything that has been done - everything was done - professionally, according to the rules, according to the scoreboard, [and] the integrity that was set up. For now, we'll have to wait and see what evidence and witnesses Mitchell can produce. But its taken a considerable amount of time, witnesses, documents, everything, everything will be made available to you, nothing will be withheld.
