Boomerang is smoother in this regard, and so it is now coming to the Facebook Camera to replace the social media's own looping tech.
Now users can make use of Instagram's Boomerang feature when capturing videos via Facebook's in-app camera. By adding new features to Facebook Stories section, the giant is trying to attract more users of Facebook to start using this feature. This new feature lets you add AR based doodles before recording your Facebook stories. "We wanted to give people an easy way to create with augmented reality and draw in the world around them" says Barnett, per TechCrunch. Facebook has warned though that the feature isn't flawless yet, and the quality of the AR experience will depend on the lighting while capturing images as well as how well the contours of the subject are captured. That feature has not been updated yet and it is now getting polished with a whole new look.
Previously, the company revealed its AR effects back at F8 past year.
The news comes after Instagram's parent company Facebook's Cambridge Analytica data scandal due to which Instagram earlier cut off the Application program interface (API) access for some developers and limited on how often others can use its API to collect data on Instagram users.

Late on Friday night, clashes broke out between Dalits and a Hindu outfit in Phagwara in Punjab over renaming of a junction. It also referenced how Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had been inspired by the life and message of Dr Ambedkar.
Facebook has been pushing its Stories tool aggressively, despite a muted response from users. Here's the Augmented Reality 3D Drawing's Demo video released by TechCrunch.
In addition to the new 3D feature, Facebook has also rolled out an option to create and share boomerangs just like Instagram.
The details of this feature are yet to be finalized and Instagram did not go into any detail at the moment. The company established brand partnerships for Facebook Stories in October a year ago and has also considered letting users create stories from the desktop website in the hopes of attracting more engagement.
