Amazon Discounts Ring Video Doorbell To $99

Ring’s Video Doorbell 2 which looks almost identical to the cheaper original model

The internet retail giant first announced its intention to acquire Ring for $1 billion back in late February, and was able to relatively quickly seal the deal.

The Ring Wi-Fi Enabled Video Doorbell has been dropped in price by 30 percent, now down to $124.99 CAD from $179.00.

In an exclusive interview with ZDNet's sister site CNET, Amazon's head of devices and services, Dave Limp, and Ring CEO Jamie Siminoff discussed the future of Amazon and Ring. "Together with Amazon, we will accelerate our mission dramatically by connecting more neighbours globally and making our security devices and systems more affordable and accessible".

Lifetime purchase protection: If your doorbell gets stolen, we'll replace it, for free! Shipment deals might increase as this deal is pretty tempting and Amazon will move a lot of these video doorbells today. Now, with Amazon's aim to deliver premium products at non-premium prices, the two companies can help make peace of mind at home a reality for more neighbors than ever before. The company cited statistics showing that Ring doorbells reduced burglaries in neighborhoods by as much as 55%.

Infant found dead at accused incest couple's address
In addition to the incest charge, Steven and Katie were charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Instead, she moved to Henrico, and a short while later, Alyssa and Steven separated with the intent to divorce.

The relationship between Amazon and Ring began in 2016 through the Alexa fund, Amazon's investment division focused on supporting companies that develop voice-related features.

Amazon's Cloud Cam is yet another product under the company's direction that is, in many ways, a competitor of Ring and Blink.

Ring's mission is to reduce crime in neighbourhoods by creating a Ring of Security around homes and communities with its suite of home security products. Amazon has also said that customer service teams for each company will continue to operate to mitigate any interruptions in service.
