Tessa Thompson Reunites With Chris Hemsworth For Men in Black Spinoff

Thompson's turn as Valkyrie was a highlight in an already excellent and hilarious superhero movie, and her sparking off of Hemsworth's Thor was as tasty as if it were made by an Asgardian pizza chef. This seemed like a slam dunk.

Cue the catchy theme song: Asgard's finest are reportedly teaming up for a Men in Black spin-off, and there's not a Neuralyzer in the world that will keep me from seeing and remembering this movie. Well, today, we found out which actress will be playing the former, and the news is very exciting, indeed.

According to Variety, Tessa Thompson is set to star alongside Chris Hemsworth in the upcoming spinoff of MEN IN BLACK.

North Korea denuclearisation not on the agenda in Helsinki talks - Finnish govt
The American delegation reportedly included two former ambassadors to Seoul, Kathleen Stephens and Thomas Hubbard. But they are believed to be explaining their respective views on making the Korean Peninsula nuclear-free.

The film is tentatively slated for release on June 14, 2019. Personally, we're hoping we get to see Tessa Thompson in the official MiB suit and tie. It's being directed by F. Gary Gray (The Fate of the Furious, Straight Outta Compton) and written by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, who served as the screenwriters on the original Iron Man. This is gonna be fun.

Thompson will join her Ragnarok co-star Chris Hemsworth in the film, though the Hollywood trade says that the film will be an "ensemble piece" that is "more global in scale". So far, character details have not been revealed, but the film will somehow be connected to the 1997 original, which starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as secret agents tasked with monitoring aliens living on Earth and keeping their existence from the public. How 'bout you folks?
