Sam Darnold pro day: Reaction and highlights from social media

Darnold is thought to be the QB jewel of the draft and had not thrown at the Combine, choosing instead to unleash his arm in the comforts of his home. The USC quarterback even finished up his pro day in the rain, and yes he did throw the football after declining to participate in throwing drills at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine.

Of course, the significance of Haslam's presence at Darnold's pro day could be minimized if he also ends up attending Baker Mayfield's private workout and/or Josh Allen's pro day, which are both scheduled this week. Coaches from the New York Giants, New York Jets and Los Angeles Chargers were also in attendance.

Darnold was a redshirt in 2015 at USC and earned the starting quarterback role after one game in 2016.

"Just being aware of all those little things, then coming out here and ripping it", Darnold said.

North Korea denuclearisation not on the agenda in Helsinki talks - Finnish govt
The American delegation reportedly included two former ambassadors to Seoul, Kathleen Stephens and Thomas Hubbard. But they are believed to be explaining their respective views on making the Korean Peninsula nuclear-free.

The Cardinals now own the No. 15 overall pick in this year's draft, which means if the Cardinals want Darnold, they'll likely have to make a trade to move up in the draft.

"He has put in all the work he needs to on tape", Helton said Wednesday before Darnold's workout.

After the Jets moved up to No. 3, with the clear intent of taking a quarterback, it seemed to clarify what will happen at the top of the draft. The Browns were there in full force, as expected, as were representatives from the other quarterback-hungry teams near the top of the draft.
