Jan Błachowicz Flips the Script on Jimi Manuwa (UFC London Results)

With an already accomplished grappling game, the Polish-German fighter has developed a solid jab and kicking game which allowed him to emerge victorious in his last two outings. Fabricio Werdum and Alexander Volkov both believe a finish will put them in line for a title shot. With Werdum busted up a bit after three rounds of action, Volkov seemed poised to pounce in the fourth, and that's exactly what he did.

Werdum is desperate for a shot at the title having lost the belt against Stipe Miocic.

The Russian heavyweight, 29, is now on a six-fight win streak across all MMA competitions. The main event of UFC London features former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Fabricio Werdum taking on the surging Alexander Volkov.

It was the biggest win of Volkov's career and while a lot of it might be to do with time catching up to Werdum - who didn't appear to be in his best shape - it should still be enough to earn him at least a #1 contender's match for a shot at the Stipe Miocic/Daniel Cormier victor. Werdum changed levels and tried to get Volkov to the ground.

Werdum appeared to be winning in the early going, controlling Volkov on the ground in the first and second rounds in particular, but by the third, it looked like he was getting exhausted while the younger Volkov still looked fresh.

Werdum attempted a takedown that was seemingly was defended by Volkov, but it played right into Werdum's hands as he swept underneath and took the back.

Sweden says North Korea talks ended, discussed peaceful end to stand-off
The Finnish foreign ministry has said the meeting will be "academic" and "from the perspective of worldwide relations". Pyongyang has not made any announcement about the talks with Sweden as of yet.

It'll certainly shake things up at 265lbs and for Werdum, with his advancing age, it may force him to take a long, hard look at his standing within the sport. Since losing the heavyweight title to Stipe Miocic nearly two years ago, Werdum has rebounded to go 3-1 in his last four since the loss.

"It nearly knocked me down but it's good", Werdum said. "Up against 6'7" opposition, however, Werdum may have trouble at setting up his strikes and finding his range to work within.

No one asked for a rematch between Jimi Manuwa and Jan Blachowicz, but boy, did it deliver.

The first time Manuwa and Blachowicz fought, Manuwa pulled out a win in a completely forgettable unanimous decision in 2015. The only man to beat him during that stretch is Kamaru Usman, who is 12-1 overall, 7-0 in the UFC and stationed at No. 8 in the UFC Rankings.

Werdum throws a leg kick and has a high kick blocked.
