Little Caesars offering free lunch combos for UMBC's win

Dean Wade: Expects to play in Sweet 16

The University of Maryland Baltimore County may have beat No. 1 Virginia Friday night, but really all of America won Friday.

Now Little Caesar's has pledged to hold up its end of the bargain and will give away free lunch combos, which usually cost $5.

To qualify, you must place your order no later than 1:00 p.m.

There's also a limit of one lunch combo per family, and you have to make sure you place your order before 1 p.m.

Russian Federation to expel 23 United Kingdom diplomats in spy row
Two days later Lavrov's deputy Sergei Ryabkov says Moscow never had any programmes to develop the Novichok nerve agent. The tensions threaten to overshadow Putin's expected re-election tomorrow for another six-year presidential term.

Their promise? That if "the insane happened" and a no. 16 seed defeated a no. 1 seed, they would give away free lunch combos on Monday, April 2.

Give Little Caesars credit, though, they tweeted out immediately after the game that they will honor the promotion.

Tacos are not as pricey as full pizza combos, however, making Little Caesars' deal a bit more generous.

The lunch combo comes with four slices of pizza that adds up to about the size of a normal personal pizza and a 20 ounce drink. This is only offered at participating stores. In addition to providing the opportunity for entrepreneurial independence in a franchise system, Little Caesars offers strong brand awareness with one of the most recognized and appealing characters in the country, Little Caesar.
