Monster Hunter World Spring Event, Mega Man Armor Coming In April

Monster Hunter World Adding Deviljho Week

There is likely to be a patch beforehand, so ensure Monster Hunter: World is updated to the latest version to make sure you can take part.

Capcom has announced a whole raft of new Monster Hunter: World stuff is on the horizon, starting with the much-anticipated arrival of "the world-eater" Deviljho on 22nd March, alongside the game's first free major title update, 2.0.0.0.

The monster in question, Deviljho, is nasty-looking wyvern, and due to arrive in the game on March 22. The festival begins on April 5 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET (12 AM GMT on April 6) and runs until the same time on April 19.

Monster Hunter: World's Celestial Pursuit Gathering Hub will be decked out accordingly for the Spring Blossom Fest celebrations, with Guild staff sporting official uniforms for the occasion.

WEATHER WARNING: Snow storms to hit Peterborough as cold snap returns
Temperatures will gradually get colder as we head towards the weekend, with the weather not expected to get above 2°C on Saturday.

Meanwhile, on the gameplay side of things, players will be able to look forward to the return of various time-limited quests.

As if that wasn't enough, the Spring Blossom Fest will also introduce two new weapons - rocket-powered sword and the Wyvern Ignition.

The first seasonal event for Monster Hunter World was announced today, and it starts in early April. The Wyvern Ignition great sword will include its own special event quest that will be needed to create the fantastic one-of-a-kind blade that leaves quite the impact on any monster. Capcom hasn't shared any details yet about what the quest will entail, but it will be available from April 13-27 and reward players with tickets to craft the voxel-style gear for their Palico; when equipped, it will play different classic Mega Man tunes depending on what weapon you're using. As a hunter, you'll take on quests to kill increasing hard beasts in their exotic habitats.
