WWE Fastlane (2018) - Start Time and Match Card

WWE Fastlane Results: SmackDown Tag Team Title Match

The first match of the card was Rusev vs Shinsuke Nakamura and I was pleasantly surprised with this match. But predicting the outcome isn't enough.

They have since been involved in a heated rivalry with the minority owner of WWE. On an otherwise entertaining show, this match felt as though it had been shoehorned on merely to remind fans that Carmella and her briefcase exist.

It's that time of year again, when we fast forward one hour and hopefully, past Fastlane.

Now I predicted earlier that Bobby Roode is going to retain his belt, and I believe he will.

While the match started off slightly slow, things started to pick up towards the end and it was also a clean match.

Jinder Mahal, The Modern Day Maharaja, joined the kickoff show panel.

This Sunday, Fastlane will commence and it will feature The 6 pack challenge for the WWE Championship. Nah. Bobby jumped off the second turnbuckle and Randy hit an RKO and that was it. Jinder ran in afterward and Roode laid out both men.

Melrose increases GKN bid to £8.1bn in 'final offer'
The tie-up is expected to deliver annual cost savings and other benefits worth $235 million within three years, it said. But because the Easter break truncates the timetable it effectively has until March 15 to sweeten its offer terms.

I knew the pace would be rather plodding and there'd be plenty of rest holds, and yet - I was really clinging to the hope that Roode would retain.

What's next: I'm really not sure what WWE will do with Rusev at this point. The reasoning is simple, it is the biggest match on the card considering the star power and how highly their position is in management's eyes. However, after a few days of deliberation with close sources were not going to bet the house on a botch. Its been nine months since she won the rematch of the Money in the Bank match and while she has attempted to cash in, the attempts have not been successful. Probably not with a win, against Becky Lynch and Naomi.

The Usos (C) vs. Or something else, more dramatic, see my next prediction. Because there's really no other compelling woman on the SmackDown Live roster (they've done a bad job of building on the post-WWE Draft work on the women, especially after RAW got Alexa Bliss) it's most likely to happen.

Dolph Ziggler can't claim to steal the show every night when he works in the same company as Seth Rollins and on the same brand as AJ Styles.

For the Women's Championship, Ruby Riott has challenged Charlotte, and I think we all know how that will go down. Charlotte will be pushed slightly, but I think it will end in a way that will make her look dominant. It's all happening! She's going to face Charlotte at WrestleMania 34!

Charlotte begins to celebrate and Asuka's music hits. Or the Queen beats the whole Riot Squad one versus three and after she declares herself the best ever. Even though it looks like WWE is just tossing six talented dudes into one match, it was really their only option.

This also helps the other participants, who could stand to go without being the weak link. He earned his spot by defeating AJ Styles in singles competition. Can Styles overcome the odds and topple five of SmackDown's top superstars, in a match which includes "The Doctor of Thuganomics" John Cena?
