Twitter suspends accounts for 'tweetdecking'

Hanging Twitter logos

Last month, Twitter announced new rules that would aim to prevent users from creating or controlling accounts in an organized fashion to achieve a particular goal (such as making a post appear to have more support than it actually does).

According to Buzzfeed, some of these account holders are known as "Tweetdeckers" for their use of teaming up with other users to retweet each other's content en masse via Tweetdeck - Twitter's own dashboard web app.

It's not clear whether Twitter will be re-enabling access to these accounts, nor if this purge will clear Twitter of its mass of spam.

Further the report clarifies that numerous suspended accounts have got a number of followers, and the number of the followers is quite high and reaches in hundreds and thousands even some accounts have followers in millions. However, Twitters recent move is big considering the number of accounts that have been suspended. They gather in private Tweetdeck groups to plot out their plans to manufacture virality.

Retail inflation eases to 4.4% in February; IIP grows 7.5% in January
The mining sector, however, registered negligible growth of 0.1 per cent, as compared to 8.6 per cent rise in January past year . Considering the above mentioned factors, RBI now estimate inflation to be at 5.1% in Q4, including the HRA impact.

"You may not use Twitter's services for the goal of spamming anyone". Which exposed almost 700,000 people to propaganda in January over the course of the 2016 US Presidential Election.

Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey recently admitted the site has serious problems with "abuse, harassment, troll armies, manipulation through bots and human coordination, misinformation campaigns, and increasingly divisive echo chambers", and asked for help assessing the "health" of the platform. It's not certain that if the suspensions are permanent or not.

Tweetdecking is an explicit violation of Twitter's spam policy, which does not allow users to "sell, purchase, or attempt to artificially inflate account interactions".
