The last person we expected could walk Meghan Markle down the aisle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to wed on may 19

Meghan Markle will appear alongside the Queen this week at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day.

According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Prince Harry is teaching the 36-year-old actress the different rules of the road, so that she can pass a driving test in the United Kingdom to be able to use a vehicle with no restrictions once she marries the flame-haired royal.

Kate Middleton did not undertake the SAS training before marrying Prince William in 2011 as the terror threat level was lower at the time.

Markle, on her part, has expressed her desire to work closely with the Commonwealth and plan to work on projects that will help young people within the Commonwealth.

Meghan, who is set to marry Prince Harry on May 19th, will attend the event along with the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and the Prime Minister. According to Vanity Fair, an announcement is expected to be made during next month's Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

A source explained: "Meghan said that she would prefer to have her mum with her as she is much closer to her than her dad".

She spent two days being treated as a hostage: "She will have been petrified". As a matter of fact, she plans to visit the country with Harry after their wedding in May. After announcing their engagement in November past year, the former actress has appeared alongside Harry and other senior royals at public engagements.

The former "Suits" actress has reportedly decided against inviting her half-brother and her dad to St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on 19 May.

We can only imagine how many royal loyalists will be celebrating the union of Prince Harry and Meghan, toasting to them with their speciality beer in hand, and it's going to be glorious.
