Jeff Hardy Arrested For DWI After Traffic Incident

WWE Star Jeff Hardy Reportedly Arrested for DWI

Jeff Hardy was arrested for driving while impaired in Concord, North Carolina this Saturday evening (March 10th), PWInsider reports.

Hardy, 40, was pulled over on Saturday night in Concord, N.C., and has had his driving license revoked for at least 30 days.

The former WWE Champion is expected to return to Carrabus County Courts on April 16. The police estimates show that the damage to Hardy's 2016 Cadillac may be $8,000 in addition to $5,000 in damages to the guardrail. It is unknown if he suffered any injuries.

He was released from custody shortly after his arrest.

Hardy, who has been in and out of WWE since the 1990s, underwent surgery to fix a torn rotator cuff in October.

Specific steel and aluminum products could also be excluded and that authority will rest with Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross. White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders said earlier the details would be made known by the end of this week.

Hardy had reportedly been given the OK to get back into the ring following surgery he had past year.

He was forced to go under the knife after suffering a torn rotator cuff and labrum in October. It's believed that Hardy will be added to the current feud between brother Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy fields questions from fans during the opening day of Wizard World Philadelphia 2017 in Philadelphia, PA on June 1, 2017. However, it's not known if Jeff made an appearance, or the likelihood of him being edited out by WWE if so.

More details may come out from Hardy's arrest and whether it will affect his standing in the company remains to be seen.

According to the arrest records, Hardy was arrested at 10:39 pm by the Concord Police Department after he was involved in a traffic crash that occurred around 8:11 pm on Concord Parkway. "We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials".
