Google Contacts gets shortcut for sending money with Google Pay Send

With video messages on Google Duo, users can now capture and share important moments, even when the receiver can't take the call.

The new video messages will automatically disappear within a day after a user has seen it, Google said.

Back in November, Google added money transfers to Android Messages via Google Wallet (now known as Google Pay Send).

Similar to all calls made on Google Duo, video messages are also secure and end-to-end encrypted.

Furthermore, a "Knock Knock" feature lets users see a live preview of the caller before answering. However, the receiver has the option of saving favourites locally to his/her phone.

Arsenal's Win Over Watford Is Important, Says Arsene Wenger
The Gunners took the lead only six minutes later when Mesut Ozil's free-kick from the left touchline was powerfully headed in by Mustafi.

After tapping the "Send" button, you choose how much you'd like to send off, choose "Send Money", and you're done.

To play a video message received from another user, the receiver may tap their chat icon. A message will be available for 24 hours after playing it unless you download it.

Google has announced a new video message update for its video calling app Duo. We noticed some strings in our teardown of the Google Contacts app last week that suggested the same addition would be coming soon, and it's now hit at least one reader in Canada. That's because calls in Google Duo might not always be planned.

Google also replaced or perhaps, I should just say renamed Audio mode feature to Voice mode. To reflect this change in name, the toggle to switch modes on the video calling app's main screen has now been updated to reflect the change.
