Larry Nassar sent to Arizona prison for federal sentence

More than 250 women have accused Nassar, a former doctor at Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics, of sexually molesting them under the guise of medical treatment.

Randall Margraves, the father of three daughters who said Nassar sexually assaulted them, lunged at the disgraced doctor on February 2 before he was stopped by multiple deputies.

Margraves told reporters that he "lost control" after seeing Nassar shake his head while one of his daughters was speaking at the hearing.

The father asked if he could get "one minute alone with the [expletive]", after he was tackled by deputies.

'Daily Show' Writer Michelle Wolf Lands Netflix Talk Show
Dan Powell and Christine Nangle will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Netflix's push to add more talk shows to its content repertoire is in full force.

Prosecuting Attorney Douglas Lloyd said he took that into account, along with a request from Nassar and his attorneys that Margraves not be punished.

Judge Janice Cunningham also declined to prosecute, saying the few hours he spent in cuffs after the event were enough punishment.

Eaton County Sheriffs restrain Randall Margraves after he lunged at Larry Nassar. The IndyStar, part of the USA TODAY Network, revealed the first allegations of abuse by Nassar, a high-profile women's gymnastics team doctor, and triggered a criminal prosecution that led to his imprisonment.

He was most recently sentenced to between 40 and 125 years in prison for abuse that occurred at a gymnastics training center in MI.

In January, he was sentenced to 40 to 175 years on seven sexual assault charges in Ingham County, Mich., and in December, he was sentenced to 60 years in prison on federal child pornography charges. He must serve the entirety of his federal sentence before he can serve his state sentences.
