IAS aspirant kills landlord's son, hides body in suitcase

A senior police officer said, "On seeing the body it seems the boy was murdered soon after he went missing".

A few days ago, Saini visited Sakya's home and complained of the foul smell, which Sakya said was because of a dead rat.

The body was found in Nathupura village, and the tenant, who is a UPSC aspirant, has been arrested.

An MSc in Physics and a native of Etah, in Uttar Pradesh, Sakya told police that he had appeared for his civil services examination thrice, clearing the preliminary stage on two occasions.

This, the police said, kept Sakya miffed against the victim's parents. The incident took place in Delhi's Swaroop Nagar.

According to the DCP, Sakya had purchased poison to kill rats and would show the dead rodents as the source of the foul smell.

CNBC , meanwhile, pointed out that Facebook is peddling this app "without first disclosing that it's owned by Facebook ". The app is actually packed with powerful features that include secure browsing when connected to a public Wi-Fi.

The boy, Ashish, had been reported missing since January 7 and it was only on February 13 morning that the police found his body in the suitcase, the Hindustan Times reported. On intimating the police, Sakya was again called for questioning. "We believed him", said Ashish's father, Karan Saini.

"[He] was very enthusiastic about searching for my child". On January 7, he lured the boy into his house, killed him on the same day, but did not dispose of the body. "My son used to call him Avadesh Uncle".

"He killed Ashish after calling him to his room on the pretext of gifting him a cycle". He then sprayed perfume and the odour was gone, Saini said.

"Sakya already planned the murder". He used his woollen scarf to smother the boy. Residents said the police would search bed boxes, racks and water tanks, but Sakya managed to keep them away from his own rented home.

Sakya wanted to make the ransom call, but not before disposing the body. he found this hard because of the presence of the police after the kidnapping had been reported and CCTV cameras in the neighbourhood, the officer added.
