Redmi-note-5-india-launch-is-scheduled-for-february-14

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 India launch is scheduled for February 14, an event that will see the entry of the successor of the hit Redmi Note 4. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be the successor of the hit Redmi Note 4 and will look a bit different than the Redmi 5 Plus which was announced in China at the end of a year ago. All in all, Xiaomi did not confirm that the Redmi Note 5 will arrive on February 14, but the company did tease devices from the Redmi 5 series, so either the company will introduce the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, or the Redmi 5 and the Redmi Note 5 will drop, either way, we're only two days away from finding out. According to the latest tweet by a user on Twitter, we now have all details on what all is making way to Xiaomi's India catalog on Wednesday. This phone seems to sport somewhat thinner side bezels than the Redmi 5 Plus, at least if this render is any indication, while its display does not seem to sport rounded corners, which is a bit odd considering that both the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus do. It will pack a 4,000mAh battery, have a dual hybrid SIM slot, and run MIUI 9.5 based on Nougat. As far as display, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is said to include either a 5.7-inch or 5.9-inch Full HD+ display. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 or 630. Irrespective of the variant, the phone will come with 64GB ROM. One of the Redmi Note 5 Smartphones will probably have a double back camera passing by Flipkart's work of art of the gadget. Luckyankit says it has a 12MP and 5MP combo on the rear while a 20MP camera graces the front.

As for the camera, the smartphone is expected to feature dual rear camera setup - 16MP+5MP sensor and an 8MP front shooter. It will be backed up by a 4,100mAh battery along with Quick Charge 4.0 support. Also, the report suggest that the upcoming phone will be exclusive to Flipkart. The teaser may reveal only these two features, previous leaks have given us a good idea of what to expect from the smartphone.
