Instagram will be adding this feature to the "ephermal part" of its platform, Stories.

Instagram is reportedly working on a new feature that will warn you if someone takes a screenshot of your story.

Instagram will now alert you when somebody has snapped a screenshot of a post in your Story. While Snapchat is more suited towards the younger crowd, Instagram has usually held a reputation for being the more level-headed of the two, treating its users like normal people and not giving them ridiculous restrictions. The selected users are shown an alert that the next time they take a screenshot of a friend's story, he/she will be able to see it.

Barcelona stumble in boring draw with Getafe
Earlier this season, Barcelona defeated Getafe 2-1, with Denis Suárez and Paulinho scoring second-half goals. However, a 2-0 midweek win over Valencia sealed their place in the Copa del Rey final.

Also, we have known that some of the Instagram users have been taking screenshots of the Stories posted by others and publishing or sharing it with other so that they can watch it anytime. Like there is a chance that people might stop watching stories in greater number as they would not be able to take screenshots anonymously. Thank you, Instagram for the warning. Most significantly story could be viewed as many times as possible within twenty-four hours, with the creator completely unaware that exactly how many times a single person viewed it.

Of course, as the years have gone by, both Snapchat and Instagram have appropriated the other's features, with Instagram adopting Snapchat's "stories" features a while back now Now, as Techchrunch reports, it seems that Instagram is jumping on the "screenshot notification" bandwagon too. As seen from the image attached above, the users will get notified by a loading image next to the person who has taken a screenshot. Any screenshot of a direct message triggers a notification to the sender, but a screenshot of a story will just result in a notation being placed next to the offender's name in the viewer analytics tab. Alternatively, you can resort to a dedicated third-party app, like Story Reposter that will perform the same trick.
