Instagram Testing The Sharing Of Someone Else's Post To Your Story

Instagram Stories has 300 million users as of November 2017

Now a report suggests that the social media app is testing out a new feature which will let users repost public posts as their stories.

You can also share a fullscreen version of the content, with the original user's handle underneath, or include a border around the photo like those on traditional Instagram posts in your feed.

Instagram is one of the most popular photo-sharing apps and is used by millions of users around the world.

According to TechCrunch, the feature will work with accounts which are public. For users who want to keep their posts private, they can go to Settings Story Settings and disable "Allow Resharing to Stories".

USA budget agreement reached
Congress has managed to pass its spending Bills on time in only four of the past 40 years, said researchers. His fellow Republicans control both chambers of Congress.

According to app developer Zachary Shakked, who is now testing the new feature, when you "regram" others' content into your Story, Instagram gives options for how you want it to appear. They can resize it, rotate it, move it around, and there are also added options for how it visually appears.

Shakked also shared an image of the privacy setting option, which explains that if the feature is on, other people can add your posts to their stories and your username will always show up with the shared post. So it looks like it will yet again be an interesting feature. Perhaps this method of sharing posts is so popular that Instagram finally made a decision to add a native resharing feature to its app. The company did not say anything in this matter. However this is done through the use of third-party apps as it has yet to become an official feature, although a year ago it appeared that Instagram was testing out an official method.

Meanwhile, the Facebook-owned app launched text-only Stories in January and began allowing users to follow hashtags in December.
