Natalie Portman reveals sick reality of life as a child star

A host of Hollywood stars joined hundreds of thousands of protesters on the Women's Marches on the anniversary of Donald Trump's inauguration.

The March was marked by many women wearing pink knit "pussy hats", an enduring symbol of last year's Women's March and the rebuke of Trump.

In Los Angeles, Eva Longoria, Natalie Portman, Viola Davis, Alfre Woodard, Scarlett Johansson, Constance Wu, Adam Scott and Rob Reiner were among the celebrities who addressed a crowd of hundreds of thousands of demonstrators.

People taking part in a march highlighting equal rights and equality for women walk past Trump International Hotel and Tower on Central Park West on Saturday in NY.

This second year of the Women's March also comes in the middle of the #MeToo movement, which has shed light on sexual misconduct, reported CNN.

The event features a slate of big names in the world of liberal activism: Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood; Melissa Harris-Perry, a professor and former MSNBC host; congressman and civil rights era icon John Lewis, D-Ga.; Alicia Garza of the Black Lives Matter movement.

"We have a responsibility when we are in these positions to lift up other women", Pugh said. Their signs, many of them self-made, represented a broad umbrella of voices, from young girls eager to vote in the next election to elderly men expressing support for advancing women's rights.

This is while Trump, at the White House, also weighed in on the protest march, saying on Twitter that, "Beautiful weather all over our great country, a flawless day for all Women to March". He said female unemployment was at its lowest in 18 years.

The central idea of this year's march was to get out and vote. "The good news is that in a democracy like ours, the real power is not with him, it is with you".

Florida ends Kentucky's streak of home wins over unranked opponents
The Kentucky basketball team goes head-to-head with SEC rival Florida on Saturday night in Lexington. Kentucky's last game without a made 3-pointer was against Seton Hall on November 26, 1988.

Trump tweeted on Saturday afternoon that it was a "perfect day for all Women to March".

"People were pretty damn mad last year and they're pretty damn mad this year", said Tamika Mallory, co-president of the Women's March board.

This year, "the hard reality of what lies ahead of us has sunk in", she said.

"We have seen tremendous aggression and discrimination against women over this past year", Cuomo said. Or when the next Women's March events will be happening?

Singer Adele shared a photo on Instagram of herself, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lawrence holding placards at a women's march as she issued a power to the peaceful rallying cry.

Los Angeles Mayor Mayor Eric Garcetti estimated the crowd in the city at 6,00,000 - which he said was the largest turnout in the country.

She said that past year she felt "a kind of euphoria" walking through the city with hundreds of thousands of participants.

The strapline for Las Vegas is "Power to the Polls", created to drive national voter registration and maximize women's involvement in the 2018 midterm elections, in which a record number of women are standing for election.

She added: Power to the peaceful, power to the people.
