I'm telling the truth, says Dylan Farrow on Woody Allen abuse claims

Alec Baldwin criticises 'unfair' Woody Allen backlash

"When I was 7 years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house", Farrow told Gayle King in an interview to be aired on CBS This Morning Thursday.

Woody Allen's adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, has given her first TV interview around the alleged sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of her director dad when she was seven years old.

Allen was investigated over a 1992 claim by his adoptive daughter, Dylan Farrow, of sexual assault which allegedly took place at the family's CT home.

"Why shouldn't I want to bring him down?" she told the CBS programme This Morning. Why shouldnt I be angry? " Farrow asks. "Why shouldn't I be hurt?"

Chalamet closed his post, writing, "I want to be worthy of standing shoulder to shoulder with the fearless artists who are fighting for all people to be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve".

"All I can do is speak my truth and hope", she said.

"I am credible, and I am telling the truth, and I think it's important that people realize that one victim, one accuser, matters".

Infiniti Planning Announcement on Electrification
Saikawa said that the electrification strategy probably will have one exception - the company's full-size body-on-frame QX80 SUV . Nissan officials have said ePower is an alternative to a pure battery-powered electric vehicle.

Up-and-coming actor Timothee Chalamet, who also stars in "A Rainy Day in New York" followed suit and also announced he was donating his entire salary from the film to Time's Up and other charities.

In October a year ago, days after the Harvey Weinstein harassment scandal broke, another of Chalamet's co-stars, Griffin Newman, donated his entire salary from a one-scene role in A Rainy Day In New York to RAINN.

Recently, Woody Allen's respected status in the entertainment industry has been questioned as more and more stars distance themselves from his work. But I do have to take this opportunity to say that, for me, I have really struggled with the decision to do that project for a long time.

The issue was revived in February 2014 through Dylan Farrow's open letter to The New York Times.

There are many who stand by him, with actor Alec Baldwin declaring the backlash "unfair and sad".

Allen was never charged with sexual abuse and has denied the allegations.

Mr Baldwin added working with the film director was "one of the privileges of my career". Ladybird director and writer Greta Gerwig, who appeared in Allen's To Rome With Love, has recently gone on record: "If I had known then what I know now, I would not have acted in the film".
