Jessica Falkholt dies six days after life support switched off

The 29-year-old was in a vehicle with her sister Annabelle, 21, and their parents, Lars, 69, and Vivian, 61, when a driver in a 4WD slammed into their auto.

Just a few days ago Jessica's life support was turned off following a horrific vehicle accident on Boxing Day that took the life of her parents and younger sister.

Their parents, Lars, 69, and Vivian, 61, died at the scene.

TRIBUTES have began flowing in following the announcement of former Home and Away star Jessica Falkholt's death today.

Lars, Vivian and Annabelle were laid to rest in a funeral service in Sydney's inner west last week.

"The family has asked for privacy during this very hard time", the statement said. The sisters were pulled from the wreckage before it erupted in flames with the bodies of their parents inside.

Annabelle was critically injured and died days later on December 29.

The Falkholts were injured when Craig Whitall crashed into the family's auto after leaving a methadone clinic. According to an exclusive report from The Daily Telegraph, Whitall was a habitual offender with four jail sentences relating to traffic offences, a driving ban spanning nine years and 10 convictions for driving while disqualified.

Our thoughts are with all those that knew Lars, Vivienne, Jessica and Annabelle.

Annabelle was remembered as a young woman full of life, who loved travelling, art, and Harry Potter.

The Falkholts' family auto was hit by a four-wheel drive near Ulladulla on 26 December.

Then came her big screen break in the supernatural thriller Harmony, starring alongside fellow Australian actors Jacqueline McKenzie and Eamon Farren.
