SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket Static-Fire Test Set On Tuesday

Just like SpaceX's regular Falcon 9 launch vehicles, the Falcon Heavy is reusable and meant to return to Earth to land after launching. Recently, the California-based aerospace manufacturing company brought its Falcon Heavy rocket to Kennedy Space Center in Florida and raised it vertically on the revamped launch pad 39A. NASA has been using SpaceX rockets in conjunction with the Dragon capsule to resupply its astronauts working in the International Space Station. Only the Saturn V moon rocket, last flown in 1973, delivered more payload to orbit. SpaceX also informed its Falcon Heavy can lift more than twice the payload lifted by the next closest operational rocket, the Delta IV Heavy. Musk has warned that the Falcon Heavy might explode. The rocket was originally set to be tested on Thursday but was rescheduled first on Friday, and again on Monday, before finally being slated for Tuesday. Company President Gwynne Shotwell has said the recent mysterious loss of a top secret spacecraft that was launched aboard a Falcon 9 will not affect plans for Falcon Heavy. Its 27 engines is capable of more than 5 million pounds of thrust, equivalent to 18, 747 aircraft lifting its three cores away and more than 140,000 pounds of cargo way from Earth's gravity and into low orbit. However, since November of 2017 the Cape Canaveral launch site has had to clear a number of scheduled Falcon 9 launches before the necessary preparations could be made for the much larger Falcon Heavy.

Elon Musk shared a drone video of the Falcon Heavy standing impressively on the launch pad in Florida earlier this month. If all tests become successful, then the Falcon Heavy rocket will most probably attain its maiden flight by the end of January.

December CPI inflation over 5.2%, dashing hopes of RBI rate cut
Food and non-alcoholic drinks also recorded smaller monthly growth of 0.6%, down from 0.8% in December 2016. However, pressure in the pipeline grew as factory gate prices rose, confounding predictions of a fall.

All of the Merlin rocket engines are going to be fired for roughly 12 seconds on Tuesday as SpaceX prepares the Falcon Heavy for its first ever real launch.
