Iran rejects Trump's demand for changing nuclear deal

Iran and Europe fear US withdrawal from nuclear deal

The White House announced today that President Trump will waive nuclear-related sanctions against Iran.

An Iranian government official on Saturday said that Iran would pursue its ballistic missile program despite US pressure, and slammed US President Donald Trump for his "irrational behavior", calling him the "most hated president in American history".

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had earlier said on Twitter that the deal was "not renegotiable" and that Trump's move "amounts to desperate attempts to undermine a solid multilateral agreement". "This is the last chance". Other protests had been staged in opposition to Iran's ballistic nuclear missile program. The last time Trump issued a waiver was in September 2017.

There are few Obama-era iniatitives that President Trump has denounced as vociferously as the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement.

The waiver he will sign suspends USA sanctions on Iran for another 120 days. The White House wants European Union signatories to agree permanent restrictions on Iran's uranium enrichment.

Hailed by Obama as key to stopping Iran from building a nuclear bomb, the deal lifted economic sanctions in exchange for Tehran limiting its nuclear program.

Those countries have vowed not to bolt the agreement even if the US pulls out, but Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Thursday that "Iran's continued compliance [is] conditioned on full compliance by the U.S".

Flu vaccines are developed well in advance of the flu season , based on viruses that had recently been circulating at that time . The trivalent and quadrivalent flu jabs could protect against the specific Aussie flu virus - a mutated H3N2 influenza A virus.

And while Trump approved a sanctions waiver, he also chose to impose new, targeted sanctions on Iran, the person said. The deal, negotiated by the Obama administration is centered exclusively on the Iranian's nuclear weapons program.

Despite the lopsided cohort in favor the deal, the president has continued to recoil at the prospect of extending sanctions to Iran given his personal animus toward the deal and campaign promise to rip up the global accord during his first term in office.

The US Congress requires the president to decide periodically whether to certify Iran's compliance with the deal and issue a waiver to allow US sanctions to remain suspended.

The ministry added the president is "continuing to take hostile measures against the Iranian people and repeating the threats that have failed many times".

He said Iran must allow "immediate inspections at all sites requested by worldwide inspectors" and that provisions preventing Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon must not expire. It saw Iran agree to reduce uranium enrichment activity drastically, dispose of its enriched uranium stocks and modify a heavy water facility so it could not produce material suitable for a nuclear bomb.

"While Britain may move to support the US on this, Germany and France are likely to be strongly opposed", he said.
