Utah Jazz's Rodney Hood gets ejected, smacks fans phone out of hand

Needless to say, Hood is going to get a fine and a suspension, and since we're on the subject of action and effect, that's probably fair. It looked like the fan was trying to film or take photos of Hood, who was not having any of it.

Rodney Hood was ejected in the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards after referee Tony Brothers heard enough of the Utah Jazz forward's complaints.

While walking towards the dugout, Hood seemingly did not like that someone was filming him so he did the only thing that he thought would make the situation even worse - he slapped the phone out of the poor fan's hand. After two technical fouls, Brothers sent the 25-year-old to the locker room. Beyond that, there's a legitimate debate to be had about fan behavior and players' reactions to it.

I'd like Rodney Hood to accompany me to movies from now on, people would get off their damn cell phones real quick.

'John Wick' TV Series 'The Continental' Coming to Starz
The show will focus on the unusual events that occur inside the hotel-for-assassins, The Continental , according to Deadline . There is no word on whether or not this will affect (possible title) John Wick Chapter 3 , but we'll know soon enough.

You can watch how the incident unfolded via the video below.

Despite Hood's early exit, the Jazz were still able to pull through, going on a 9-0 run immediately following the ejection and eventually winning over the Wizards by a score of 107-104.

Ekpe Udoh scored 16 points and Joe Johnson had 16 off the bench for the Jazz, who had lost 13 of 16 in between meetings with Washington. If anything, he did get six rebounds and a pair of steals.
