Donald Trump uses words too vulgar, racist for media to translate

Those are the question asked today inside the White House during an event to honor Martin Luther King, Junior.

The United Nations (UN) in a strongly-worded statement said the USA president's remark was purely racist, while the Vatican has described it as offensive.

Johnson rejected Trump's claim in a 2015 CNN interview in which the President said he was "the least racist person", declaring that "he's a racist both in his actions and his words".

Dodging the questions, the President said goodbye to his guests and rushed out of the room.

"Why do we need more Haitians?" the Washington Post quoted him as saying, citing people briefed on the meeting.

"Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country", he tweeted.

Mr Trump was said to have told them that instead of granting temporary residency to citizens of countries hit by natural disasters, war or epidemics, the U.S. should instead be taking in migrants from countries like Norway.

This morning, President Trump said he did use profanity, but the specific phrased he's accused of saying - really was NOT said.

On Friday, Mr Trump tweeted that his language he used at the private meeting with lawmakers to discuss immigration legislation had been "tough".

"The comment could torpedo immigration talks over DACA immigrants - the children of illegals - and funding for a border wall". It's a dignity many in this White House could learn from.

Undersecretary of State Steve Goldstein said that the president has the right to "make whatever remark he chooses" and that it was the diplomats' duty to send the message to other countries that the USA "cares greatly about the people that are there". It took courage for what he did, and, I made my own comments in response to it.

However, Trump has denied using the vulgar expression reported, although admitted his language was "tough". "Something I am most proud of is the relationships that we have built in all of Greensboro and all of the sixth district throughout this community", said Walker.

While Graham's statement didn't confirm or deny Trump making those comments, Sen.

He added that "we pray that the almighty God gives him wisdom to change his mind about people who are suffering and looking for safe haven in America".
