Juventus respond to talk Max Allegri will replace Conte at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has warned Jose Mourinho he won't be able to forget all that has been said between the two bosses throughout their war of words.

Conte's future at Chelsea has been subject to speculation for months, with suggestions that the Italian could well leave the club at the end of the current campaign. He stepped down at the end of his contract past year and has expressed an interest in working in the Premier League.

However, Conte will know all too well that the lifespan of Chelsea managers is short.

Conte - who was acquitted of sporting fraud charges in 2016 over accusations he failed to report episodes of match-fixing while in charge at Serie B side Siena in 2011 - said he had no regrets about his response to Mourinho's attack.

As per Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Conte's compatriot Massimiliano Allegri is being looked as the man to take control of the Blues next season.

Finally, the outspoken Italian refuted claims that Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is changing the philosophy at the Catalan club by recruiting expensive players. However, it's expected that Juventus will be reluctant into letting their man depart.

The 50-year-old has won plaudits during his tenure at Turin, leading Juventus to three consecutive domestic doubles. Later, Conte added: "I am starting to be a bit annoyed".

And while Allegri is believed to be open to one day managing in the Premier League, Marotta has been quick to respond to the rumours.

The Daily Mail report that Chelsea have already started work on finding his replacement and have identified managers who could take the helm in West London.

Carroll, then, could be brought in over his head, but Hammers boss David Moyes has claimed to be in the dark regarding the Chelsea rumours and the Blues continue to be linked with several other striking alternatives.
