CNN host throws Trump advisor off air

Wolff Discusses Shocking Trump Tell All Book

White House policy adviser Stephen Miller, an architect of President Donald Trump's immigration policy, told Fox News' Tucker Carlson on Monday night he was not escorted from "extraordinarily biased" CNN after his fiery interview with Jake Tapper flew off the rails the day before.

In a lengthy interview on CNN's State of the Union, Miller tried, very unsuccessfully, to minimize the role of ousted White House senior strategist Steve Bannon, and was frustrated in his efforts to run out the clock by dogged host Jake Tapper.

Miller was widely panned for an early round of interviews just weeks into the administration, but Scarborough told MSNBC analyst Elise Jordan this weekend's appearance - which ended with him being reportedly escorted from CNN by security - signaled a new low.

Even as the White House continues to deny the legitimacy of Michael Wolff's book Fire and Fury, the Trump administration surrogates sent on television are stuck talking about it anyway-and when they try to avoid it, the chaos only expands.

Tapper responded by saying, "I'm sure he's watching and is glad you said that", to which Miller hit out at him for being "condescending" and "snide".

Martin Explains The Process Of Landing Brian Bowen
SC head basketball coach Frank Martin just landed his highest-rated recruit in program history and it will make national news. Louisville suspended Bowen upon learning of the arrangement described in the Justice Department documents.

Mr Bannon went on in his statement to say he regretted waiting five days to say something, and called Mr Wolff's reporting "inaccurate". "And I know you think I'm interrupting you, but I think the american people deserve to have two or three minutes of the truth".

President Donald Trump's chief policy adviser is blasting an unflattering new book that has raised new questions about his boss's fitness for office.

Miller responded, "Not only do I think they help it, but I think in the toxic environment you've created here in CNN and cable news, which is a crisis of legitimacy for your network, and we saw it, of course, with the extremely fake news that you reported about the Don Jr. and Wikileaks story".

Miller then repeatedly attempted to pivot to criticism of CNN, a favorite Trump target. He proceeded to talk about Trump's ability to tap into a phenomenon that was overlooked by the political establishment, who he referred to as "so-called" geniuses. Eventually, Miller's mic was seemingly cut. "I hope I expanded his thinking... but I think he probably would be where he is today without me as well", Spencer said, according to The Daily Beast. Tapper said Miller was being obsequious, only caring about Trump.

Miller appeared on the show to defend Trump against the charges made in Wolff's book, but the interview turned combative. He urged his followers to "watch the hatred and unfairness of this CNN flunky!" At one point, Tapper asked Miller to settle down, not unlike a parent asking his child to stop acting up in a crowded restaurant.
