Meghan Markle deletes social media accounts ahead of wedding to Prince Harry

Prince William speaks about being best man to 'best mate' Prince Harry

The decision to close her social media accounts is in line with her changing status, as she will soon become a member of the royal family when she marries Harry in May. Yes, the time has come: the royal bride-to-be is no longer on social media.

The palace said she was "grateful to everyone who has followed her social media accounts over the years" but had closed them "as she has not used these accounts for some time".

And the same goes for Meghan's Twitter account.

Meghan, 36, joined her fiance to visit the Reprezent 107.3FM radio studios in Brixton, where station officials work with local youths by providing them with creative training in radio and broadcasting. It's an unspoken rule that the royal family isn't on social media.

Ohio Department of Health reports state's first pediatric flu death of season
The State Department of Health only reports flu deaths in counties if there are more than 5 confirmed flu-related deaths. There have been 3,854 total flu-associated hospitalizations in OH since flu season began last October, according to ODH.

Traditionally, members of the royal family don't have their own Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts, and instead post updates from the official pages of Kensington Palace, Clarence House and the like. It's where Prince George and Princess Charlotte's births were first announced, and just yesterday, when they shared photos of Charlotte ahead of her first day of preschool.

Below are some of Ms Markle's top social media moments.

To be honest, we should have seen it coming, especially after she stopped posting to her food and lifestyle website The Tig in 2017. Now that she and the Prince are about to get married, she has gone the whole nine yards by having all her social media accounts deleted.
