Media Report: Malzahn to stay at Auburn

Arkansas set Malzahn as the top target in its coaching search even before Bret Bielema was officially relieved of his duties following the Razorbacks' season-ending loss to Missouri on November 24 and had reportedly made a lucrative offer to get him to return home. "I said before the season that the next three or four seasons are fixing to be our best, and I believe that more today than ever". "We have great players".

Malzahn had been the top target at Arkansas, which let go of former coach Bret Bielema the day after Thanksgiving. Malzahn is 2-3 against Auburn's biggest rival, including a 26-14 win this season. He offered no comment in his press conference previewing the SEC Championship game on Friday, then, after the loss to Georgia on Saturday, said he was "happy at Auburn" and "I want to be the head coach at Auburn".

No details are available on the length or amount of the Malzahn contract with Auburn, but it appears that Arkansas officials are now looking to their second choice for the head coaching job.

He also led Auburn to victories over teams that were No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings at the time, Georgia and Alabama. "We've got talented players".

Booker carried off with groin injury in Suns loss to Raptors
After that slow start, Booker made 15 of his last 21 shots to finish with 46 points in the Suns' 115-101 win over the Sixers. Preliminary tests showed Booker strained his left adductor while playing defense with 2:40 left in the fourth quarter.

Fans are ringing the bell in Athens after the Bulldogs beat the Tigers in the SEC Championship. I love the school and love where we're going.

Malzahn has been at Auburn since 2013 and has gone 45-21 over five seasons.

"We didn't finish the SEC championship game the way we wanted to this year, but I'm proud of what this team accomplished", Malzahn said.
